KraussMaffei Contributes to Increased Efficiency for French TIME Bicycles

As a partner of the well-known French bicycle company TIME, KraussMaffei will assist TIME in developing new manufacturing process, aiming to transform its proven, albeit manual resin transfer molding process (RTM) technology into a high-pressure RTM (HP-RTM) process with a high degree of automation, continuously improving production efficiency while ensuring traditional manufacturing quality.

TIME is one of the most prestigious sports bicycle brands in Europe, renowned for its handcrafted and advanced carbon fiber frames. To expand its production capacity, TIME has invested in the construction of the largest carbon fiber bicycle manufacturing plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA.

KraussMaffei possesses leading technologies and solutions in various plastic processing fields, including injection molding, extrusion, and reaction process machinery, and has extensive experience in composite material processing and production. Currently, the technical details of the TIME project are being gradually determined, and the subsequent phase will involve specific system design and implementation.
