KraussMaffei Wins the German iF Design Award

The list of winners of the 2022 German iF Design Award was recently released. The user interface of KraussMaffei’s process control system, pioneer processControl, stood out among nearly 11,000 works from 57 countries. It’s the fifth award for a KraussMaffei design project over the last five years.

As a pioneer in the field of plastics processing, KraussMaffei keeps innovating and improving the user interface design of its process control system along with promoting product digitization. Its design not only accurately reflects the plastic processing technique, but also provides an intuitive, clear interface and a good user experience on top of continuous optimization.

The iF Design Award, together with the Red Dot Award and the IDEA, are well known as the world’s three major design awards, and the iF Design Award is often considered the “Design Oscar” in the international field of industrial design.
