Bluestar Adisseo (Nanjing) Acquires FRAmelco Group

Bluestar Adisseo (Nanjing) recently announced that it has completed the acquisition of Dutch feed additive manufacturer FRAmelco Group (FRAnklin Group Co., Ltd and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, hereinafter collectively referred to as "FRAmelco"). As an important part of Adisseo's global strategy, the acquisition will help the company further consolidate its position as a global leader in special feed additives for animal nutrition.

FRAmelco Group focuses on the development, production and promotion of animal feed and feed-water additives worldwide. Headquartered in the Netherlands, the Group has three factories in the Netherlands, Spain and Thailand, with business in many countries/regions and annual sales of nearly 30 million euros. Its main products include short- and medium-chain fatty acids which enhance animals’ immunity and reproduction, and lysolecithin which can improve animals’ digestion and absorption of nutrients.
