Chairman Ning Gaoning Meets with Jiangsu Party Secretary and Governor

On May 19, ChemChina Chairman Ning Gaoning attended the opening ceremony of Jiangsu Development Summit and Jiangsu Development Forum, and met at Nanjing with Secretary of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee Lou Qinjian and Governor Wu Zhenglong. The two sides made in-depth communications with each other and reached broad consensuses on the business development of the companies of ChemChina and Sinochem in Jiangsu and the development of the industry.

Lou said that Jiangsu Province will make active efforts to provide ChemChina and Sinochem with a favorable business environment and keep increasing the level of the chemical industry of the province.

Wu said that relevant departments of the province are working actively to improve policy guidelines and approval procedures and release related policies as soon as possible, so as to strive to create a sound, safe and sustainable development environment for chemical enterprises.

Ning said that ChemChina and Sinochem has broad business layout, strong business foundation, large asset size and high operating revenue, and hoped to continue to expand the strategic layout and business development of the two companies in Jiangsu after comprehensive summarizing and surveying the business operations and management of relevant organizations. In particularly, the two companies will actively cooperate with Jiangsu Province to enhance safety and environmental protection of the chemical industry, take effective and concrete measures for safety and environmental protection, promote the development of circular economy through technological innovation, jointly advance the construction of major projects, and strive to make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Jiangsu.
